PPDD Light School New School Building Under Construction…
A new school building for LightSchool: Alternative School for Stateless, Migrant and Displaced Children from Burma is under construction. This will serve for the purpose of expanding the school facilities and space to accommodate more children which is expected to increase in terms of number by next school year (2008 – 2009).
Peoples Partner for Development and Democracy (PPDD) PPDD wants to respond to issues and concerns of the unprivileged and marginalized groups and communities. PPDD aims to support people in their struggle for rights based approach to development and genuine democracy. PPDD partners with people and communities by empowering them through alternative education, training and advocacy programs and projects for local communities and grassroots people.
