Promising Light School …

Students are doing an excellent academic performance. All grade levels generally speaking are progressing in each of the subjects offered by the school. The kids of Light School are not only academically oriented but they do have some fun and physical exercises and recreational classes. Every afternoon after classes, teachers and pupils play football, running and jumping and other kinds of games. The health of the children, the teachers and other staffs of Light School is generally fine. The school serves meals for children. The school makes it sure that these meals are nutritious and balance food for the well nourishments of the pupils in Light School. The school built a new toilet to accommodate the growing number of children coming to Light School.

The teachers of Light School for over 6 months of being together developed a sense of camaraderie, friendship and care for the school and their students. They have a harmonious relationship as colleagues and workers and they live together in the school since they are being provided by PPDD with quarters/rooms and place to live inside the school compound. They are happy being at the school and are really committed in their work. Each teacher has his/her own responsibilities to observe and the head master supervises and is ensuring that these responsibilities are fulfilled in lieu of the daily operations of the school. Currently, they are learning English to develop themselves further. Every Friday, the teachers attends teaching workshop together with other teachers from other school on topics regarding how to be effective in teaching.

The parents of the children are very happy that their children have access to education. They believe that education is important for their children to have a better life in the future. They believe that knowledge is power.
